Create a quick 3D shadow effect

You can add a 3D shadow effect to your objects quickly and easily with this trick:

Select the Object:

Select the object you want to add the shadow to.

Apply the Shadow Effect:

Go to Effect in the main menu bar.
Select Stylize and then Drop Shadow.

Adjust Settings:

A shadow options window will open. Here you can adjust the distance, angle, size and color of the shadow to achieve the desired effect.
Experiment with the settings until you get the visual result you like.

Preview the Effect:

You can check the "Preview" to see how the shadow will look before applying it permanently.

Accept and Done:

Click "OK" once you are happy with the shade.
